Animatic Storyboard

Using the editing software that we will use for our final production, we created an animatic version of our storyboard. This allowed us to familiarise ourselves with the software which will help speed up the process during post-production. 

The animatic storyboard gives us a stronger idea of what our music video will look like, specifically how the shots coordinate with our chosen song. This also allows people to give us feedback specific to the editing of the shots which we will take on board during the post-production.

Teacher Feedback:

• I like the ideas the music video conveys, it links well the chosen song
• It has a clear structure and message 
• I like the overall structure, however, the use of editing could be further employed
• It appears you have played it safe with your shots - try and experiment with your shots size and angles

Response to Feedback:

During post-production, we have planned to increase and decrease the speed of certain shots although this is not possible to display in our animatic storyboard. Furthermore, we shall experiment with our shot sizes and angles. The use of a canted angle in several shots may be effective in creating disorientation for the viewer.
