Music Video: Second Edit

After making improvements and adding the studio shots, the second edit of our music video was presented to obtain feedback:

Feedback and Reflection:

"Try to match your shots to the pace of the music"

Referring back to music videos from our chosen genre, there is a typical use of short shot duration during the chorus of the song when the pace is quicker. Therefore, we shall match our shots to the pace of the music through editing the shot durations.

"Your shots are rather flat, perhaps you can add some movement to them"

Using the editing tools available to us on the software, we will add some movement to the shots. For example, zooming in or out on the artist and panning movements.

"The final shot of your music video lacks quality"

With the final shot being the audience's last impression on the music video, we will ensure to change the shot to something of higher quality. For example, a shot of the artist in front of the projected visuals may be a stronger alternative.
